Story of my life...
I began life as a storyteller. In Kindergarten I went on the road (to the older grades) with my own version of Noah’s Ark. Many, many stories later I spent three wonderful years in Tellers Two, a storytelling duo that toured the Pacific Northwest. To this day, writing original material for live performance stokes my creative fires.
Variety is the spice...
Storyteller, voice talent, DJ, actor, producer and writer, I thrive on diverse and challenging projects. But the heart of my work is delivering a message in ways that make it memorable.
I have many clients to thank for putting my passion to work. You can hear our collaboration around the country, in radio ads and on TV commercials. In recent years, I have been tapped to narrate several documentaries produced by KSPS, a public television affiliate seen throughout the Inland Northwest (US) and Western Canada.
A voice for all occasions...
Serious. Sophisticated. Sultry. Or silly. I have told stories with all these voices, and more. To my straight reads I bring warmth, conversationality, clarity, and authority. 14 years and counting...
After graduating from college, I went on the road (again) with a touring theater company. Came down with mono. Came home to recuperate and launched UpStart Productions. That was over 14 years and many voices ago.
The point is that experience counts for something in this business. It cultivates versatility. Hones creativity. And refines efficiency. All of which I will gladly put to work for you. Call me and we’ll talk.
